We all know that "Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet, eating her Curds and Whey" but I bet you didn't know that to make cheese, milk has to be separated into curds which are the lumpy bits and whey which is the liquid bit.
We make cheese with the curds!

Back in 1990 we entered our first competition. It was the International Food Exhibition which was held at Wembley Stadium. The two cheeses which we were making were entries into the New Cheese Class and amazingly for a new cheesemaker, we were awarded the Silver and Bronze.

Since then we have exhibited at; Nantwich international Cheese Show, British Cheese Awards, Royal Highland Show, The Great Yorkshire Show, and World Cheese Awards and have won many major awards including the Best Modern British Cheese.

This shows a consistent quality of produce over many years. In fact every one of our 8 cheeses has been a prize winner. Annually we have an external audit which gives us the SALSA Accreditation (Safe And Local Supplier Approval.
